Weekend Planner: Breakfast With Santa, Yoga With Flutes

A crisp but sunny December weekend lies ahead. In addition to all the holiday shopping, there are plenty of options for you to get out. Start your weekend off with Breakfast with Santa for a good cause and cap it off with a relaxing yoga class featuring special music. Here’s more:

Where/when: ; there will be two seatings: the first is at 9 a.m. and the second is at 11 a.m.

Why go: Enjoy breakfast with Santa – proceeds benefit the Neighborhood Outreach Foundation, which helps families in need throughout the Council Rock School District.

Cost: $14.95

Where/when: , Saturday at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Why go: This performance of “The Snowman” will feature The Newtown Chamber Orchestra, Celtic Flame Irish Dancers, Spirit in Motion Ballet Theater and Bliss Michelson as the narrator. The show is a benefit for the BCCC Foundation, the nonprofit educational trust that provides student scholarships

Cost: $24, children under 3 are free.

Where/when: W State St & N Hamilton St, Doylestown, Friday & Saturday, 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Why go: Visit Santa in downtown Doylestown in his very own Christmas Cottage, which was made by the Middle Bucks Vo Tech School Carpentry Department in 1985. Santa will be in his house and ready to listen to the children's wishes and take photos.

Cost: Free

Where/when: , 1380 Bristol Rd, Southampton, Saturday, 10 a.m.

Why go: The event will feature toy trail layouts, groups and exhibits, live music, face painting and a visit with Santa. All proceeds will benefit the restoration of the historic Southampton Railroad Station.

Cost: $5

Where/when: , 6:30 p.m. on Sunday

Why go: Cap your weekend off with a two-hour, all-levels asana yoga class featuring live native American flute by Ian Haag.

Cost: $25
