March is here. Why not welcome it by having some fun this weekend? Here are some options.

Where/when: Newtown Township Building, 100 Municipal Dr, Newtown, Saturday, 10 a.m.

Why go: The first of what will be quarterly environmental forums hosted by the township Environmental Advisory Council. The event will feature speakers and a children’s activity.

Why go:  A reading by Neil Samuels of The Lorax and other Dr. Seuss favorites, special musical performance by Lolly Hopwood, recycling tips presented by a surprise visitor and birthday cake.

Where/when: , 345 Newtown Richboro Rd, Richboro, Friday at 7 p.m.

Why go: Match favorite Seuss characters & books all in a row and you may have the chance to shout "BINGO"! There will be "Seussical" prizes and a few birthday games, too. Cake and ice cream, it wouldn't be a party without you! So come one and come all, You'll have a ball!

Why go: Step-by-step prep for home ownership in today’s market, plus a special investors forum entitled “The Benefits and Pitfalls of Buying Short Sales & Foreclosures.”

Why go: Check out planets and winter constellations and finish off the evening with a campfire and marshmallows. This event requires clear skies and charts will be provided.
