Wrightstown Farmers Market
Where/when: 
Wrightstown Township Municipal Building, 2203 2nd Street Pike, Newtown, Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Why go: 
This market features more than 25 vendors offering seasonal, freshly harvested, organically and conventionally grown vegetables, herbs, flowers; preserved products; 100 percent grass-fed beef, pasture-raised poultry, lamb and pork; pastured, free range eggs; organic yogurt and cheeses; artisanal breads and homemade baked goods; handmade soaps and lotions; raw local honey and beeswax candles; locally grown and handmade fiber products; gluten free and vegan items; organic, fair trade, locally roasted coffees; organic, freshly ground nut butters; gourmet prepared foods and local handcrafts.

43rd Annual Yardley Harvest Day
Where/when: 
S. Canal Street & E. College Avenue, Yardley, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Rain or shine
Why go:
Fine artists and one-of-a-kind crafters will set up along Canal Street and down East College Avenue, from Main Street to Delaware Avenue (River Road) in historic Yardley.

Concert in the Bark

Music, pets, food and fun!
Cost:
$20 if purchased online before the concert, or $25 at the door.

Newtown Beerfest
Where/when: 
410 S State St, Newtown, Saturday, 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Why go: 
Newtown Beerfest 2012 is Newtown's premiere beer event presented to you by the Newtown Fire Association. Taste beers from over 80 breweries while enjoying live music and local food vendors.
Cost:
General admission $40, Designated Driver $10

Bike the Basin
Where/when: 
Northampton Recreation Center 345 Newtown Richboro Rd, Richboro, Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to noon
Why go:
At this event, kids ages 1-13 ride their bikes around a 1/2 mile track and participate in fun bike safety activities while kids ages 14 and older assist with all the activities.  In addition to the bike events, kids can take part in the free face painting, balloon animals, fitness activities, etc. This event raises money to fund retinal research.
