Churchville Inn

Where: Bustleton Pike & Bristol Road, Churchville

What: The chef is offering a five course tasting menu for $45, plus the regular menu fare. The restaurant has 24 craft beers on tap and more than 200 craft bottles. Specials are available all weekend. 

Domenic Graziano Flowers & Gifts

Where: 60 James Way, Upper Southampton

What: A dozen roses with a variety of eight different colors ($80), plus numerous plush animals, balloons and chocolates.

Brady’s Pub

Where: 4700 E. Street Rd. (first floor of Crowne Plaza), Feasterville-Trevose

What: Open mic night on Feb. 14, with half-price apps until 8 p.m. There is also a special drink menu with eight mixed drinks and 30 beers on tap, plus a special beer named Choklat, which tastes like pure dark chocolate. 

Crowne Plaza Hotel

Where: 4700 E. Street Rd., Feasterville-Trevose

What: Discounted night that includes breakfast for two in the morning. The Global Bistro also has a special February menu that includes Lamb Magnifique and Pan Seared Salmon.

Villa Capri Ristorante & Bar

Where: 51 W. Court St., Doylestown

What: Sweethearts dinner for $45 (add bottle of wine for $20), includes one shared appetizer, two entrees and one shared dessert. An art show featuring local artist Tina Antonucci, wine and food pairings and live music begins at 9:30 p.m.

Maryanne Pastry Shoppe

Where: 499 East St., Doylestown

What: Lots of sweets and pastries to choose from, including cupcakes ($.95 to $2.25), chocolate strawberries ($1.25 each) and heart-shaped strawberry shortcake ($14.95).

The Newtown Bookshop has great books and gift items for Valentine's Day. We even have paper roses from "Made by Liddy" using re-purposed books -- they are just beautiful!

How could you not list Newtown Chocolate? Best in area and was doing a booming business today in its new location. I am glad to see it reopened and doing well.
