It’s the weekend before Christmas and while Santa is busy, there are still many opportunities to meet him around town.

We’ve called our contacts in the North Pole and found out the local spots where St. Nick plans to make an appearance this weekend.

NEWTOWN FIRE ASSOCIATION SANTA RUN

Volunteer firefighters from the Newtown Fire Association will be escorting Santa Claus around Newtown Borough and Newtown Township on their antique fire truck Saturday during the Ninth Annual Santa Run. Children can come to the borough firehouse from 8:30 to 9 a.m. that day to meet Santa at the firehouse before Santa begins his journey through town.

Santa will visit every residential area of Newtown Township and Borough throughout the day. Firefighters following Santa in a fire department pickup truck will be accepting canned goods to donate to local food banks for the needy.

BOROUGH SANTA HOUSE

St. Nick will be at the Santa House, located by the Christmas tree at the Newtown Firehouse on Liberty Street, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. There is no charge to meet Santa, just bring your camera.

OWOWCOW CREAMERY

Believe it or not, Santa has a sweet tooth for more than just cookies. He’ll be at Owowcow Creamery this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Owowcow is located at Carousel Village on Route 413.

UPPER MAKEFIELD PARADE AND FOOD DRIVE

Santa will spread holiday cheer Sunday during the , which starts at 9 a.m. Then, he’ll be back at the Firehouse, 1221 Taylorsville Rd, Washington Crossing, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for photos. The event is a food drive for the Penndel Food Pantry, so bring a nonperishable item along with your camera.

SHADY BROOK FARM

will be open from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday and from and noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday.  

OXFORD VALLEY MALL

You can always catch Santa at the . He’ll be there Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.  He’ll also be there throughout the week during mall hours.
