Whiz Kids of the Week
Stefani Ruzic and Larissa Witte have a children's book drive underway that will benefit The Providence Center.
Whiz Kids' names and ages: Stefani Ruzic and Larissa Witte, age 15
School: Council Rock High School North
Accomplishment: As part of their graduation project, Ruzic and Witte teamed up with the National Honor Society and benefiting The Providence Center, which provides educational and enrichment activities for children in the Fairhill/West Kensington section of North Philadelphia. Collection boxes are available now through Friday at Council Rock High School North and the on Eagle Road. Early picture books through early chapter books are welcome.
Key to Awesomeness: These high school sophomores already have their graduation project well at hand -- they are dynamic and unafraid to take initiative. Ruzic and Witte work hard, care about their community, and always take time out to read a good book.
