For anyone able to attend, the Newtown, PA, community of faith will be holding a candlelight vigil at the Luthern Church of God's Love, on Rt. 332 (Washington Ave.--located near the first traffic light after leaving Newtown Boro, on the left side) on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 7:00 pm. (Please dress warmly.) People will gather to lift up thoughts and prayers for all those touched in any way by the shootings in Newtown, Connecticut. Our town shares the same name, and it seems fitting we reach out in spirit to this Connecticut community. Join us if you can, and whether you come or not, please spread the word. May God comfort our country in this dark time. Whatever scientists tell you, sadly the world stopped yesterday, if only for a moment.
