PA School of the Performing Arts Presents: "Dances of Unity" and "Madeline's Worldly Adventures"

The Pennsylvania School of Performing Arts (PSPA) and Spirit In Motion Ballet Theater (SIMBT) present “Madeline and Dances of Unity” at Bucks County Community College on June 7th & 8th. Join us as local professional dancers and the beautiful young dancers of this spirited troupe dance in a two-act production.

The production opens with “Dances of Unity,” a tribute to the former South African President and fearless leader, Nelson Mandela.  This montage of movement, inspired by Mandela’s legacy, will illustrate the hardships he overcame, the trail that he blazed and show how one man’s dream can change the world.

In Act II, we follow "Madeline's Worldly Adventures," the tale of a young girl and her friends as they embark on the journey of a lifetime! During this show, contributions from the bake sale and other giving opportunities will benefit COME UNITY, a local non-profit at work in East Africa.

Spirit In Motion Ballet Theater is helping COME UNITY’s mission to help make third world communities self-sufficient by providing for basic needs, education and sustainable income. COME UNITY’s Director and Teacher at SIMBT, Kristin Naylor, is “grateful to have the Director of SIMBT also a non profit 501-c3, Terri Lee and PSPA’s support for COME UNITY through this year’s show. This is a very special group of people—talented, generous and fun. This show is such a high quality production in and of itself, and everyone can come away from this great production knowing they contributed to people in need, it is an amazing feeling.”
