Newtown Arts Company’s production of “The Taffetas, A
Musical Journey Through the Fabulous Fifties” by Rick Lewis, opens Thursday,
April 3 and runs through Wednesday, April 9 at the Newtown Theatre, 120 N.
State Street, Newtown PA 18940 (no show on Monday, April 7).

Director Mary Liz Ivins of Lawrenceville NJ and Music
Director Susan den Outer of Langhorne PA lead the team producing this high
energy, song-filled romp through a decade which saw hits such as “Sh-Boom,”
“Mr. Sandman,” “The Three Bells,” “Tonight You Belong to Me,” “Hurt,” “Mockin’
Bird Hill,” “Music, Music, Music,” and “Where the Boys Are.”



Tickets are available at www.newtownartscompany.com and
cost $24 for Front Reserved and $21 for Rear Reserved seating. Curtain times
are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3 and Tuesday and Wednesday, April 8 & 9; 8
p.m.  Friday and Saturday, April 4 &
5; and 3 p.m. Sunday, April 6.
