Registration Open for Annual Newtown Library 5K
The annual 5K race and kids fun run raises money for the Newtown Library Company.
There's an opportunity to get active all while helping out the local library next month.
Registration for the Newtown Library Company's annual 5K race is now open. The race will be held Oct. 19 at 9 a.m. at the Chancellor Center.
There will also be a one-mile fun run at 8:30 a.m. A pre-race stretch will be done by Yogasphere.

The course goes in and out of borough neighborhoods. Walkers are welcome. The event will be held rain or shine.
The cost to participate is $25 for the 5K and $15 for the kids fun run.
