Celebrate the New Year at First Night Newtown

First Night, Newtown's annual family-friendly New Year's Eve celebration, will feature live musical entertainment, food, kids activities and more.

Looking for a family-friendly way to spend New Year's Eve? 

First Night, Newtown’s annual New Year’s Eve celebration, will take place Dec. 31 beginning at 5 p.m. The festivities will be held at Council Rock High School North.

First Federal of Bucks County is sponsoring the fireworks, which begin at 10 p.m. at Newtown Middle School. McCaffrey's is sponsoring shuttle buses during the event.

Proceeds from First Night will help benefit Newtown D.A.R.E. and other Newtown community programs. There will be a raffle to win an iPod mini, which is being donated by Anthony Petsis and Associates.

Tickets are available at the following locations: First Federal of Bucks County, First National Bank of Newtown, Newtown Book and Record Exchange, 3rd Federal Bank, Newtown Athletic Club, Action Karate, Shady Brook Farm and Ned’s Cigars.
