Car Wash to be Held Saturday
A car wash to support two Newtown girl scouts project will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Chick-fil-A.
Leah Rubin and Samantha Guest, two Newtown girl scouts, are holding a car wash tomorrow to raise awareness for homeless pets in local shelters.
The wash will take place on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the location on West Road.

The girls, who are working to achieve the Silver Award from Girl Scouts, will also be holding a walk to support their cause on Sunday, August 26. Woman's Humane Society and Luv 4 Ever Pet Rescue.
The girls will be entering as freshman in the fall and "love animals," according to Leah's mother, Kim Rubin.
