Phillies Snapshots

Photos from a recent Phillies game, as their season looks very much in jeopardy.

It is now July 28, just a couple of days from the MLB trading deadline.  The Phillies season has been decimated by injuries - most notably Chase Utley and Ryan Howard.  My son and I attended their winning game on July 24 against the Brewers, and in the midst of a 4-game winning streak it looked like there was some hope for this difficult 2012 season.

But now the team has dropped 2 straight games to the Braves and the season is suddenly slipping away again.

These photos are from the game on Tuesday, and they bring back memories from that fantastic 2008 World Series season.  Who knows if any of these formerly great players will regain their dominance, or whether they all will be with the team next year, or even next week.  Let's hope for better times for our team - the Philadelphia Phillies.
