Christopher "Kip" Tobish, 65, Lived in Newtown for 40 Years

Born in Trenton, NJ, Kip was a 40-year resident of Newtown.

Christopher "Kip" Tobish, 65, of Newtown, passed away suddenly on December 7, 2013 at his home. Born in Trenton, NJ, Kip was a 40-year resident of Newtown. 

Kip was a graduate of the Hun School and he attended Rutgers University. He was the owner of Gourmet Mulch and Firewood Co. and he delivered to many residents of the Newtown area.

He was an avid saltwater fisherman and hunter. He also enjoyed gardening and the annual arrival of his hummingbirds. Kip was the son of the late Joseph Tobish and he is survived by his mother, Jane Rohn Tobish.

He is also survived by his wife, Lynne Goodwin Tobish, and his daughter Leslie C. Tobish. He was the brother of Jonathan (Jody) Tobish of Ewing, NJ and Brock Tobish of Shelbyville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Swartz/Givnish Funeral Home, Newtown. Memorial contributions in Kip's name may be made to the Bucks Co. S.P.C.A., P.O. Box, 277, Lahaska, PA 18931.
