First Federal of Bucks County Awards Scholarships to Three Bucks County Community College Students

First Federal of Bucks County recently presented three Bucks County Community College students with scholarships, which honor two illustrious and former First Federal presidents and one devoted and longtime Board of Director member.  The George W. Shaffer Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Daulton Brady, the Harold F. Oswald Jr. Honorary Scholarship was awarded to Amanda Hendershot and the David M. Harris Honorary Scholarship was awarded to Brianna Mullins.

Mr. Daulton Brady is a local Bristol resident and recent graduate of Bucks County Technical High School. He is a full-time student at Bucks County Community College as a Criminal Justice major.  While in high school Daulton was a honor student and member of the National Honor Society and 3 sport athlete.  After completing his time at Bucks County Community College, he plans to work towards his bachelor’s degree.

Ms. Amanda Hendershot is a local Levittown resident and recent graduate of Bucks County Technical High School.  She is a full-time student at Bucks County Community College as a Liberal Arts Major.  While in high school Amanda was a volunteer at Pennswood Village and part of Band, Mathletes, Drama Club and SADD.

Ms. Brianna Mullins is a local Churchville resident and recent graduate of Council Rock South.  She is a full-time student at Bucks County Community College as a Secondary Education – English Major.  Brianna has participated in many extracurricular activities in high school, including Cheerleading, Basketball, Track and the Autism Awareness Club.  She has a poem published in the World Poetry Movement.

The recipients were presented to First Federal by Tobias Bruhn, Executive Director for the Bucks County Community College Foundation.

Jeane M. Coyle, President/CEO of First Federal, stated “We are pleased to grant these scholarships in honor of two former First Federal presidents and one former Board of Director. The three students who were selected exhibit a charitable spirit and have the drive to succeed in their future ambitions.”
