31K Affected by Widespread Power Outages in Bucks

More than 31,000 customers in Bucks County were without power Monday afternoon.

UPDATE: Power outages that at one point Monday impacted 31,300 customers in Bucks County have been mostly repaired, according to PECO.

Widespread power outages have been reported throughout Bucks County. A PECO outage map shows more than 31,300 customers are currently without power in the region as of 3:15 Monday.

The highest number of outages have been reported around Doylestown and Buckingham townships. However, 975 Newtown Township customers are without power as of 3:30 p.m. More than 2,860 PECO customers in Northampton have reported outages and more than 2,300 in Upper Makefield are without power.

According to Doylestown Borough officials, the outage is due to an issue at the Buckingham substation.
