Area Police Seeking Man Who Robbed Yardley Bank

At approximately 9:17 a.m. this morning, a man robbed the Wells Fargo Bank on Stony Hill Road. He is considered armed and dangerous, police said.

A Wells Fargo Bank in Yardley was robbed this morning.

The Lower Makefield Township Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public's assistance to identify and locate the man responsible for the armed robbery.

The crime occcured shortly after 9 a.m at the Wells Fargo Bank at 706 Stony Hill Rd, Yardley, police said.

According to police, the subject entered the bank at 9:17 a.m. and threatened the teller with a gun.  After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the subject fled the area of the bank in an unknown direction. 

The subject is described as a white male, 6'2" tall, 240 pounds, wearing a gray sweat suitwith the hood covering his head, a black ski mask (hole cut-outs in the eyes and mouth) and light green latex gloves, police said.

Police said the subject is considered armed and dangerous. 

A reward is being offered for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of this subject.
