According to Newtown Township Police, Nicholas Yiambilis, 41, of Bensalem and Laura Bumgardner, 27, of Newtown were arrested after an argument at the Sycamore Grill.

During the argument, “Bumgardner flipped a table over spilling wine, which splattered onto the carpet, blinds, walls and ceiling,” according to information from police.

The couple was asked to leave the restaurant around 10:40 p.m. That's when Yiambilis flagged down an officer who was on patrol on North Sycamore Street. When the officer pulled over, Bumgardner was “sitting on the step, yelling at Yiambilis,” police said.

As the officer was speaking with Yambilis, he detected a very strong odor of alcohol.
