Crews Battle Fire at State Street Law Office
According to eyewitness reports, no one was injured in the fire at the law offices of Louis R. Busico.
A South State Street law office caught fire Monday afternoon shortly after 2 pm.
Crews fought the blaze at the law offices of Louis R. Busico, located at 246 S. State Street. Newtown firefighters were assisted by the Northampton Volunteer Fire Company, Yardley-Makefield Fire Company, Langhorne Middletown Fire Company and the Penndel Fire Company.
The building was completely evacuated as crews put out the blaze. The heaviest fire appeared to come from the second floor.
State St was closed from Penn to Barclay. As of 5 p.m., the road was still closed.
No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, according to officials.
