Driver Backs Into Lukoil Fuel Pumps

As a result of the Saturday morning accident, three nozzle handles were knocked off the pumps but there was no hazardous fuel spill, police said.

A driver backed his car into the fuel pumps at the Lukoil Gas Station Saturday morning, Newtown Township Police said. As a result of the accident, three nozzle handles were knocked off the pumps but there was no hazardous fuel spill, police said.

According to information provided by the Newtown Township Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Sycamore Street service station just before 8:30 a.m.  

The driver told the responding oficer that he only had minor damage to the front bumper of his car. However, the employee of the station confirmed that three nozzle handles had been knocked off the pumps.
