Harris did not return a request for comment on the matter when contacted by Patch last week. When contacted last week, township supervisors chair Mike Gallagher said he was unaware of Errico's suspension.  When contacted Tuesday afternoon, Gallagher said he was aware of "an internal investigation" at the Fire Association but offered no details.

According to an article posted on phillyburbs.com, the DEP said the fire department conducted illegal live burns of a vacant home on Durham Road near the intersection of Eagle Road during three recent training sessions.

The association is also being investigated by the department of Labor and Industry due to a complaint that junior firefighters were told by the Errico and other fire association officers to enter the burning building during training exercises, the article said.
