Fire in Township Contained, No Injuries

Firefighters responded to a fire on Greenridge Circle at approximately 10 a.m.

A fire on Greenridge Circle that broke out this morning has been contained and no injuries were sustained in the emergency. There was visible damage to the townhome, however.

Newtown Township Police Officer Dan Bell said authorities do not know the cause of the fire, which emergency personnel responded to at approximately 10 a.m. this morning.

Bell said there were no injuries in the fire. It was contained by 11 a.m.

Newtown Fire Company responded to the fire, as well as emergency responders from Northampton, Middletown and Washington Crossing.

Greenridge Circle is a cul-de-sac of townhomes located off Buck Road.
