A resident of Upper Makefield Township called police around 4:30 p.m. to report that while she was in the Rite Aid Pharmacy earlier that day, someone struck her parked car, leaving a large dent and white transfer paint on the driver’s side. She was unable to provide any additional information on the striking vehicle and had already confirmed that the store didn’t have surveillance video of the incident.

Just before 5 p.m., a resident of Hartford Lane reported that his vehicle that was parked on the street overnight was keyed by an unknown person.

Police were dispatched to Wrenwood Way in Wrightstown Township at 6:30 p.m. for a report of gunshots in the area.  The responding officer made contact with a 16-year-old resident who said that he had been shooting his pellet gun at a can.  The officer observed the area where the juvenile was shooting and determined that the teen was observing precautionary measures. The officer did ask him to stop shooting.  No further calls were received regarding the situation.

Shortly before 11 p.m. police responded to the area of Grant Street for a complaint of a male subject walking down the street yelling.  Officers didn’t locate the described subject, but one officer spoke with other residents who reported that someone had been ringing doorbells and running away.  A short time later police were dispatched to Timothy Drive for a complaint of six juveniles walking through the neighborhood hitting street signs with baseball bats and ringing doorbells.  The area was checked but the teens were not located.
