Don't even think about drinking and driving in Newtown this coming holiday weekend. Newtown Township police have announced it will be hosting a DUI checkpoint consisting of a static sobriety monitoring detail.

Specific roads were not released by the department.

The local police are working in cooperation with Bucks County Police Training Center and in accordance with the Bucks County DUI Checkpoint grant program to carry out the detail this weekend.
