Major Suburban Meth Ring is Caught

A methamphetamine trafficking organization that worked in Pennsylvania through Bucks and Montgomery counties have been caught in "Operation Blowout."

A $3.5 million methamphetamine trafficking organization, which stretched from the Philadelphia suburbs – including Bucks and Montgomery counties – into the Lehigh Valley, has been stopped, according to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office.

“Operation Blowout,” a joint investigation, has identified 27 individuals allegedly linked to the ring that stretched from Mexico and Texas into Pennsylvania.

Attorney General Linda Kelly, Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan and Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler held a news conference at 11 a.m. Nov. 28th.

Over the course of the entire investigation, agents and troopers executed nearly 30 search warrants, seizing approximately four pounds of crystal meth, one partially dismantled meth lab, nearly 100 firearms, $110,000 in cash, and 16 vehicles, along with drug packaging materials, containers used to hide drugs and records indicating drug sales and money owed for various purchases, according to the Attorney General's office.

Seized drugs, weapons, cash were on display at the conference. Photos of the defendants are attched to this report.

Kelly, Noonan and Heckler said the investigation centered on the activities of Robert H. Snyder, of Pottstown and Wesley B. White, of Roaring Branch (Tioga County). They allegedly received meth smuggled into Texas from Mexico and then distributed the drug through Pennsylvania.

The foregoing arrest information was supplied by the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General. It does not indicate a conviction.

As long as the alleged defendants are not charged in Philly catch-and-release courts it could be good news.
