Meet Justice, Township Police's 'Elf on the Shelf'

Newtown Township Police share their Elf on the Shelf photos via Facebook.

If you follow Newtown Township Police Department on Facebook, you've probably seen Justice.

He's the department's sneaky Elf on the Shelf, who has been hiding in various places around police headquarters. Police officers have caught him hanging out in jail cells, jammed in the copy machine, playing with fingerprinting devices, writing traffic tickets and lurking in the emergency call box.

Police began sharing photos of Justice on their Facebook page Dec. 5.

Elf on the Shelf toys have become a new phenomenon. The small felt elf serves as a scout for Santa, watching children to make sure they're on their best behavior. Parents are supposed to move him each night around the holidays.

We've posted some of our favorite Justice moments; check out the police's Facebook page to see them all.
