Newtown Crews Help Fight Langhorne House Fire

Newtown's Rescue 45 was first to arrive on the scene and reported heavy fire through the roof of the home.

Crews from the Newtown Fire Association helped fight a house fire in Langhorne Monday night.

According to information from the Newtown Fire Association, crews from Langhorne-Middletown and Yardley-Makefield fire companies responded to the dwelling fire on Stone Bridge Court in Langhorne just after 8 p.m. 

Newtown's Rescue 45 was first to arrive on the scene and reported heavy fire through the roof of the home.

Crews went in service with multiple hose lines to quickly extinguish the fire.

The fire is under investigation by the Middletown Township Fire Marshal. The Courier Times reported it was caused by discarded sparklers.

No one was injured.
