Newtown Township Police Blotter: Dec. 28 to Jan. 2

Recent activity as reported by the Newtown Township Police Department.

 

Wednesday, Dec. 28

Shortly before 1 p.m., a resident of Hill Croft Way reported that UPS said that they delivered two packages to his home on Wednesday, Dec. 21, but he never saw the parcels.  The value of the packages is estimated to be $375.

Thursday, Dec. 29

Around 8:15 a.m., a resident of Cambridge Lane reported that someone had stolen his trashcan the day before. The responding officer located the trashcan across the street from the man’s home.

Friday, Dec. 30

At approximately 1 p.m., a resident of Parkview Way reported that there were two juveniles walking behind his house and they were each carrying what appeared to be BB guns.  The responding officers checked the area but didn’t locate the described subjects. 

Saturday, Dec. 31

A resident of Cliveden Drive came to police headquarters around 12:50 p.m. to meet with an officer to report that she was the victim of credit card fraud.  Detectives will handle the investigation. 

Police received a report from a resident of Hart Alley shortly before 1 p.m. that this morning he found a deck chair had been pushed up to one of the windows in the house.  No entry was gained into the home and nothing was taken.  

Monday, Jan. 2

At approximately 10:10 p.m., police responded to a home on Eagleton Farms Road for a report that someone had broken a window in the rear of the house while the residents were not at home.  The victim further reported that the subject or subjects entered the home and she is in the process of compiling a list of missing items.
