Piccolo Trattoria Burglarized Overnight
Security video captured images of a white male wearing jeans, a button down shirt and a baseball cap inside the building just before alarm was activated.
Piccolo Trattoria Restaurant was burglarized overnight, Newtown Township Police said. The cash register, valued at $3,000 and containing $350 in cash, was stolen, police said.
According to police, officers arrived at the restaurant at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday in response to an alarm. When officers arrived, the window of the front door was broken and two tables had been overturned. The cash register on the front counter had been ripped out and removed.
