Newtown Township Police collected nearly 54 pounds of unwanted medication during a drug take back event Saturday.
The medications were collected at the Newtown Township Administrative Municipal Building as part of the National Drug Take Back Initiative under the guidance of the Drug Enforcement Administration.
The location was manned by Newtown Township and a volunteer from Bucks County Promise.
