Police: More than 4K in Materials Stolen from Wrightstown Construction Site

Shortly after 4 p.m., police responded to Bucks County Community College for a report that a window of a parked vehicle had been broken. The responding officer observed a large hole in the right side rear window, but didn’t locate anything that may have cause the damage.  

Wednesday, Dec. 12

Patrols conducted a truck detail on the Newtown Bypass from 7 a.m. until approximately 1:30 p.m. Police stopped 15 trucks. One violation was discovered and a citation was issued to the driver of the vehicle. 

At approximately 10:10 a.m., a resident of Sequoia Drive called police to report that a vehicle with expired tags had been parked along the street for an extended period of time. The responding officer confirmed that the tag, inspection and emissions stickers were all expired. The officer called the owner and left a message that the vehicle needed to be moved or an abandoned vehicle sticker will be placed on it and eventually towed.

Just before 12 p.m., police were dispatched to a construction site on Joseph Drive in Wrightstown after someone reported roofing shingles were missing. The construction foreman told the officer that the stolen property was valued at approximately $4,400.
