A laptop, cash, musical equipment and designer sunglasses are among the items stolen from cars overnight Thursday.

Township police have released additional information regarding a rash of thefts that occurred at the Champman's Corner neighborhood overnight Thursday. A laptop, cash, musical equipment and designer sunglasses are among the stolen items, police said.

According to the Newtown Township Police Department, four residents of the Wrightstown Township neighborhood on Thursday reported thefts from their cars.

Police said victims are still in the process of compiling lists of missing property. So far, one victim reported that cash and a pair of men's Prada sunglasses valued at $400 were taken but credit cards were left behind.  He told the officer that the vehicle was unlocked at the time of the theft.

A second resident reported that two vehicles parked in his driveway were entered. Nothing was taken from one car but the second vehicle had a laptop computer, air card, binder containing miscellaneous documents and some loose change taken.

The third resident to report a theft from his vehicle told police that approximately $15 in loose change was taken.

The fourth person to call reported that four vehicles were entered and an estimated $40 in cash and musical equipment valued at $600 was stolen.
