Police Respond After Wrightstown Man Chases Intruders off His Property

According to Newtown Township police, a Williams Avenue homeowner saw two males attempting to enter his opened, detached garage.

 

A Wrightstown Township man on Sunday chased two people off his Williams Avenue property after they attempted to enter his detached garage.

According to Newtown Township police, the Williams Avenue homeowner saw two males attempting to enter his opened, detached garage.  According to police, the man said similar incidents have happened in the past where people were attempting to steal alcohol.

The homeowner chased the two males off his property prior to police arrival.  Officials from the police department said they do not advise that residents attempt to apprehend suspicious persons on their own, for safety concerns.

Also on Sunday, police were dispatched to the 200 block of Frost Lane for a dispute between two parties.  Upon police arrival, one of the parties was causing a loud and boisterous disturbance in public and will be cited for disorderly conduct.
