Police to Up Patrols on I-95 This Weekend

Officers will target aggressive driving, distracted driving, speeding and seat belt use, as well as motorcycle, pedestrian and commercial vehicle safety.

There will be extra police patrols on I-95 this weekend, law enforcement officials announced.

Philly.com reports that police from up and down the East Coast, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, will be upping patrols along nearly 2,000 miles of the interstate this weekend. The campaign is an effort to reduce highway fatalities, police told Philly.com
