Reward Offered in Search for Missing Statues

The statues, which have a combined valued of $8,000, were taken earlier this month from a Wrightstown Road home, police said.

 

A $2,000 reward is being offered in the search for two missing bronze statues, Newtown Township Police announced Tuesday. 

The statues, which have a combined valued of $8,000, were taken from a Wrightstown Road home, police said. The items were believed to have been taken on or about March 20.

One statue is six feet tall, 200 pounds and valued at $6,000, according to police. The other statue is about 50 pounds and valued at $2,000.

The reward will be given to anyone who provides information that leads to a successful prosecution, police said. Anyone with information should call dedective Jason Harris or officer Thomas Rawa at the Newtown Township Police Department, 215-579-1000.
