Services for Cameron Smithwick to be Held This Week

The 19-year-old former Council Rock North student died Saturday in a car accident in Northampton Township.

Services for Cameron Smithwick, the 19-year-old who died Saturday in a car accident in Northampton Township, will be held this week.

Smithwick attended Council Rock North before moving back to Texas to be with his father. He had recently returned the area and was enrolled at Penn State.

"Cameron was a young man with the innate ability to make anyone laugh and smile whether or not they were having a good or bad day. He was enrolled to start college at Penn State in just a few weeks. He will be sadly missed by everyone who has come to know and love him, his obituary reads.

Relatives and friends may attend a viewing on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. in Richboro. On Friday there will be a viewing at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Ave. Philadelphia. from 10 to 11 a.m.

A service will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia. Smithwick will be buried at Union Cemetery on Almshouse Road in Richboro.
