Police Investigating Car Burglaries at Tyler Park

State police are searching for individuals who stole items from cars in the Newtown Township park.

State police are investigating a rash of car burglaries at Tyler State Park. According to police, the thefts occurred Tuesday between 3:40 and 3:55 p.m.

Trevose troopers said somebody broke into and stole items from seven vehicles at the park’s Lower Plantation parking lot, which is located by the intersection of the Swamp Road entrance and the main park road. 

Police said the thieves broke windows to gain entrance into the vehicles. Various items were removed from the cars, police said.
