Six Accidents Reported During Saturday Snow

This weekend saw the area’s third snowstorm in a week, and it’s not even officially winter yet.

Newtown Township Police were busy over the weekend, due to the snow. 

The department reported six accidents during Saturday’s snow, which turned to freezing rain at night. In addition to the accidents, police said they assisted seven disabled motorists and handled five situations in which parked cars interfered with snow plows.

Rock Hill: 6.9 inches

Springtown: 6.1 inches

Sellersville: 4.5 inches

Quakertown: 4.0 inches

West Rockhill Twp.: 4.0 inches

Perkasie: 3.8 inches

Furlong: 3.7 inches

Warminster: 3.5 inches

Hilltown Twp.: 2.8 inches
