Skateboarder Critical After Tyler Park Fall

The teen, who was not identified by authorities, was one of four who asked a passing driver if they could "skitch."

A teen sustained potentially critical injuries after “skitching” in Tyler State Park Tuesday evening, state police told the Bucks County Courier Times.

The teen, who was not identified by authorities, was one of four who asked a passing driver if they could "skitch" — or hitch a ride up the hill on their skateboards.

The skateboarders grabbed onto the outside of the driver’s car and hung on as he went up the hill at about 15 miles per hour, the Courier Times reported.
