Woman Slapped by Stranger During Road Rage Incident, Police Say

A local woman told police a stranger got out her car and slapped her after she honked her horn at her on Buck Road.

A road rage incident on Buck Road got physical Tuesday, Northampton Township Police say. 

A local woman told police a stranger got out of her car and slapped her after she honked her horn at her on Buck Road.

According to police, the victim said she was stopped at a traffic light on Buck and Stoneyford roads Tuesday when she noticed the woman driving the car in front of her, a silver BMW sedan, was on her phone talking.

The victim told police the woman did not move when the light changed, so she honked her horn. When the car still did not move, she honked a second time, police said.

The second honk prompted the driver, described as a 40-year-old woman with dark hair, to curse and give the victim the middle finger, according to police.

The victim honked again and the driver of the BMW got out of her car, walked up to the victim and slapped her across the face, according to police. The BMW driver then ran back her car and drove off, police said.
