Eighteen-year-old Sabol built a storage shed for sports equipment at the park. The teen has taken part in several trips with the scouts and has served in several leadership positions in Troop 99.

Pannepacker, 18, installed a 50 foot fence at the Churchville Nature Center in Northampton. The 18-year-old is a member of Troop 29.

To obtain the rank of Eagle Scout a teenage Boy Scout must plan an extensive service project that benefits their community.

Sabol stressed how important his project was to him and how he felt it was "important to give back to the community."

"[The project] helped me be involved and I hope it helps others be involved as scouts and adults," Pannepacker said.

The teens join the ranks of other Eagle Scouts like Neil Armstrong and Steven Spieberg.
