Delancey Ct Clubhouse Must be Completed by Next June: Supervisors

The supervisors on Wednesday approved the development and stormwater management agreements for Delancey Court, which was recently purchased by Toll Brothers, under the condition that the clubhouse be completed by June 1, 2014.

The residents of Delancey Court who have long awaited the construction of a clubhouse can be assured the amenity will be in place by June 1, 2014 thanks to a condition approved Wednesday by the township Board of Supervisors.

The supervisors approved the development and stormwater management agreements for the development, which was started by McGrath but recently purchased by Toll Brothers, under the condition that the clubhouse be completed by June 1, 2014.

The clubhouse must be constructed by that date or the developer will not receive the Certificates of Occupancy for the final 15 residential units.

Board member Rob Ciervo raised the issue of ensuring the clubhouse was completed because, he said, residents have lived there for many years without it being constructed as promised. He said he was hoping a representative of Toll Brothers would've been at the meeting so they could discuss the issue.

Township solicitor Jeffrey Garton said the board could simply make completion of the clubhouse by a reasonable time frame a condition of approving the development and stormwater management agreements.

"I just want to have some deadline," Ciervo explained.

The agreements, with the condition, were passed unanimously by the board.
