Gallagher Reelected as Township Supervisors Chair

Mike Gallagher will again serve as Newtown Township Board of Supervisors Chair.

The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors reappointed Mike Gallagher as board chairman at a reorganization meeting last night.

Matt Benchener was reappointed as vice chair.

Ryan Gallagher (unrelated to Mike Gallagher) will serve as secretery/treasurer.

The supervisors meet for a regular meeting this Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Yes, he was the Chair last year and was reelected by he board again. Its an internal vote.

I think Nicole was referring to the typo "relected" as opposed to the correct spelling "reelected." Poor editing Patch!

I think the important part of the story should be that the Board of Supervisors elected a man who was caught driving druck and then threated the job of the police officer who caught him and not the spelling of reelected.
