Newtown Twp Hiring Seasonal Public Works Employees

Newtown Township is hiring part-time, seasonal workers for its Public Works Department.

According to an announcement on the township's website, Newtown Township is accepting applications for temporary, part-time seasonal workers to maintain ball fields, clean park bathrooms and do routine maintenance.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and be reliable. "Applicants must be mechanically inclined and be able to operate tractors, walk-behind mowers and use powered lawn maintenance equipment," the posting reads.

Applications can be picked up at the Newtown Township Administration Building, 100 Municipal Dr. Stop by Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. 
Applications should be returned to the attention Ronald Weaver Jr., Director of Public Works.

The deadline to apply is April 30.
