PA House Passes $29.1B Budget

The budget passed by the House by a 110-93 vote.

The Pennsylvania House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a $29.1 billion budget for 2014-2015. The bill is headed to the senate.

Monday, June 30, is the deadline for the state to pass a budget.

The budget passed by the House by a  110-93 vote. The spending plan is balanced but it takes into account $380 million from the privatization of liquor sales,  a move that may not be supported by the state Senate, Politics PA reported.
