Police Promotions, 2014 Budget on Wednesday Supervisors Agenda
Wednesday's Board of Supervisors meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. at the township municipal building.
Two employees of the Newtown Township Police Department will be promoted during Wednesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting.
Corporal Robert Lupinetti will be promoted to Sergeant of Police and Patrol Officer Shawn Pirog will become a Corporal of Police during the meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m.
Also on Wednesday, the board is expected to discuss the 2014 budget.

A draft budget for 2014 that was presented in October retains the current millage rate at 2.5 mills. It includes $11.43 million in expenditures and keeps staffing at current levels.
