"Spring is a hectic time for families and also an active time for legislation in the state Capitol, so I am offering a more convenient way to get constituent input by bringing a town hall to my constituents by phone," Santarsiero said. "Residents will be able to ask questions and listen to discussion on important state issues without leaving their homes."

On Monday evening, constituents in the 31st District -- which includes Newtown Township, Newtown Borough, Yardley Borough, Lower Makefield Township and part of Upper Makefield Township -- will receive a phone call with instructions on how to participate.

The program will consist of a legislative update touching on major issues in the Capitol, as well as a question-and-answer session, according to Santarsiero.

"If residents want to make sure they're included on the call, they should contact my office to confirm their phone number," Santarsiero said.
