Republican Candidates For District 31 To Hold Meet and Greet

Candidates Helen Bosley and Anne Chapman will be present at the event, which will be held Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 7:30 p.m. at The Temperance House.

 

The Greater Newtown Republican Club is hosting a Meet and Greet forum with two candidates running to represent the 31st District in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.  

Candidates Helen Bosley and Anne Chapman will be present at the event, which will be held Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 7:30 p.m. at The Temperance House.

District 31 includes Lower Makefield, Newtown, Upper Makefield and Yardley. 

The seat is currently held by Steve Santarsiero, a Democrat who is running for reelection in 2012.

Chapman is a 32-year resident of Bucks County. She works in the health care marketing research field, most recently having served as Vice President of Strategic Account Management for VPMR, LLC in Kennett Square.  

She lives in Lower Makefield. Prior to living in Lower Makefield, Chapman and her husband, Harry, resided in Newtown. They have three children who attended both the Council Rock and Pennsbury school districts.

Bosley is also a resident of Lower Makefield, where she has lived for 35 years.  She is the past president of the Lower Makefield Republican Club.

She is the co-founder of Corporate Financial Management Inc., where she serves as a consultant to corporations, nonprofits and government entities.  

Bosley earned a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  She has two grown children and has taken on volunteer responsibilities with Abington Memorial Hospital, Girl Scouts, St. Andrew Episcopal Church and the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.  

The primary election is April 24.
