Supervisors To Review Plans For NAC Pool Complex
The Newtown Athletic Club is seeking the township's permission to build a resort-style pool complex.
The Newtown Athletic Club will come before the Newtown Township Board of Supervisors Wednesday for land development approval to construct a 40,000-square-foot field house and outdoor pool complex.
The field house will take the place of the Baseball Academy that is adjacent to and owned by the club. A turf field the size of a regulation football field will be added next to the field house, the NAC told Patch last year.

The resort-style pool complex will have features like sprays, slides and various elements. There will also be an adult pool and lounge area.
NAC owner Jim Worthington told the supervisors at a previous meeting that all members will have access to the pools and no summer-only memberships will be sold.
