Township Partnering to Host Earth Day Celebration

The Earth Day celebration will be held April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Core Creek Park in Langhorne.

Newtown Township Parks and Recreation is partnering to host an Earth Day Celebration next month at Core Creek Park in Langhorne.

Newtown will join the parks and recreation departments of Middletown Township and Bucks County to host the celebration, which will be held April 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will feature giveaways, green businesses, a Hybrid Septa bus, arts and crafts, inflatable amusements and local nature centers. There will also be electronics recycling, live music and free activities for kids. 

In addition, there will be free tree giveaways sponsored by Brickman Group and a low flow toilet raffle sponsored by KE Seifert, Inc.
